WHO: everyone!
WHAT: the firefighters put out a calendar every year and guess who is getting everyone involved.
WHERE: the venue for the photoshoot, somewhere in the city.
WHEN: within the first week of their arrival.
WARNINGS: nudity or partial nudity? will update warnings as they come.

The firefighters are looking for models to assist in their yearly calendar. Last year due to some mishaps, they missed the due date for this beloved tradition in the city, and so are not looking to really make sure everything is flawless this year. Since is no error for mistakes, they are even recruiting people to model as firefighters, as well as looking for people who can act as temporary photographers— in a city as busy as this one, it isn’t always easy booking a photographer for certain time slots.


1. As a photographer they are tasked to make the calendar spicy, but also unique! They figure one of the best selling points is variety. No more poses, the more avant-garde, the weirder even, the better! Like if your thing is posing with a carton of eggs, you do you!
2. Models are incentivized and even ranked (this is arbitrary, so I leave that all to you), so maybe this can also lift the competitive spirit of some! Or maybe you just really want to make some extra kryptos!
3. Outside of photographers and models, also looking for people who can enhance the overall experience. Do coffee runs for everyone, while also hyping or judging the models! Whatever they say fit! People can even stumble into these roles thinking they were here for a completing different reason! Or go out on an errand to come back and suddenly everyone is not as they once were.
4. Just have fun and free to make up your own scenarios! Even if it's walking in like 🧍‍♂️ I thought this was a pizza party.

everyone is free to put up their top levels and tag around as they see fit. you can see it as you were messaged by someone randomly on the network about an opportunity to make additional kyptos, or they could have even found an ad. whatever works!

[ This poor guy....truly looking like a mouse about to be devoured by a den of cats. Wriothesley can't help but feel a little bad for him. ]

That does seem to be the process from what I've seen. [ Maybe he should throw the guy a bone? ] But there are other roles you can take on, if you're not so comfortable with showing it all off. Sometimes the most appreciated hands [ bodies?? ] are the ones that aren't in the spotlight.

[This would sound more fun if he was doing it for just one guy, but no! Everyone is going to see him run around ass out! This is terrifying it its own way!

So he's thankful for the suggestion. Taryon's shoulders visibly relax, and he nearly drops the bag on the floor.] I'm not a photographer, but- I'd say I have a good eye for art. I could offer my suggestions for, you know, style points. [Maybe be brave enough to speak what he would find more attractive.

He watches Wriothesly from the corner of his eye.] ...Are you all done?

Then it sounds like you have plenty to offer.

[ Which is honestly more skill than Wriothesley has. Being physically fit is all well and good, but strength alone can only get a man so far. He'd always thought of how nice it might have been to learn a few new tricks, but there'd never been the time for it.

Now, though? Things are a little different. ]

I haven't gotten started yet, no, so if you need a body to practice on, I'm all yours.

[ That's an innocent offer by the way, please don't take it the wrong way. ]

[There's a moment where Taryon wonders if Wriothesley is offering something unfit for the public setting, but he thankfully remembers what he was just talking about.]

Are you asking that I take a photo of you? [There's not many extra cameras lying around, save for the one implanted in his eye. He raises his fingers to his temple.] I could certainly do that, but I don't think the calendar would accept them.

[ Bless Taryon for not making things even more awkward. ]

[ Sit? Something else? Most of the time the people he's idly watched have stood around in various poses, but every now and then they seem to be posed in a manner a little more daring.

Actually, looking over now, one of them seems to be halfway up a pole? Hm. ]

I don't really get pictures taken of me very often.

Well, it's pretty great, having pictures taken of yourself. I just don't do... [He watches another model pick up a fire hose and firmly grasp it with both hands. It's very evocative.] That.

But I've been studying the art of the selfies and fashion shoots. [He's been on Instagram.] I got plenty of ideas from there!

[ Hold up. It's great that Taryon is so well-versed in this but Wriothesley does have one question. ]

The selfie?

[ Please explain. When you're trapped in a prison for ten years you lose touch with modern day lingo. ]

So! [The light returns to Taryon's eyes. He stands with his hands raised and his fingers outstretched.] It's a type of photograph where the one taking the picture and the subject are one and the same. There's a special way you have to hold the camera, and I found a couple of poses commonly used in the tag. There's this-

[He holds up two fingers to form the "peace" sign"]

That I see around. There's also some meant to be alluring, so we'll go with that.

[ A picture of oneself, huh…? That would explain the interesting name. He's not sure he has any immediate interest in taking a selfie, but no harm in learning about the process in case it comes up in the future somehow. He flexes his fingers, one hand curling into the aforementioned peace sign before his fingers loosen again. ]

That seems a little vain, don't you think? Taking a picture of yourself to give to someone else. Or am I presuming too much and you're meant to keep the picture for yourself?

[ Is that better or worse…? He doesn't know. ]

They're in the public sphee. I don't know how that's meant to do anything but show off.

[He folds his arms loosely.]

It sounds like fun. I could keep track of what I wore everyday, or show people living far from me how I'm doing, or get more people to see how great I look. Like the calender. [And he could keep some pictures for himself, just to remind himself that he's handsome and deserving of compliments.]

[ We love a confident and self-loving king here. But! Those are all valid points. Wriothesley certainly wouldn't have considered them, his own appearance being the least of his worries most days. ]

You could always make a calendar of your own here. Or start up one of those [ what are they called again ] columns in the paper? Whatever the equivalent is here. I'm sure someone would be interested in that.

[His eyes light up with a million possibilities. Not all of them will come to life, but the potential of having hundreds of photos of himself...]

Are you saying I should be...an influencer

I...sure, why not?

[ Not the word he would have chosen, if only because he's not so well-versed in this sphere of things. It's certainly not an incorrect statement to make though. ]

They do say that if you do what you love, you won't have to work a day in your life.

I don't know how I can turn that into a full-time job, but it would make for a fun side project.

[Taryon wants to live a life of posting his outfits online and sharing his fashion tips. And maybe getting a few fans. He just wants to blog, basically.]

[ Truly different strokes for different folks, but Wriothesley can't fault the man for wanting to dabble in something he enjoys, even as a side project. It's something he himself had dreamed of as a kid, though fate had seen fit to send him down a different path. ]

I'm sure a man with as many ideas as yourself can find some way to turn that dream into reality.

[ But! Back to business. ]

Though perhaps you should devote more time to it after you've gotten your pictures taken.

[ Assuming he still wants to model in front of the camera. ]

How about you try out some poses first, and I'll find some inspiration from your confidence? That sounds more doable in the moment.

[ May as well let the guy ease into things before throwing him into the deep end. Although...hm. Wriothesley taps one finger against his chin as he looks around at the various props surrounding them. ]

Would it be better to stand or sit? I'll defer to your expertise here.

I'm of the opinion that if you're going to sit, you'll need an impressive seat, and I don't see any luxurious couch. [He could make it work by being hot, but these pictures need style on top of attractiveness.] So, how about you...lean back with your elbows on the counter.

[Taryon grabs a nearby towel - unless the ones used out in the field, this one is free of soot and dirt. He holds it out.]

[ Alright...alright...

He's nodding along as Taryon gives out directives, silently taking notes in his head of what he'll need to be doing once he actually has to step out in front of the cameras For Real. Elbows...counter....lean back...

And then there's a noticeable pause as he blinks, puzzled by the sudden towel offered. ]

With a towel?

[ Is he...supposed to hold it sexily in his hands?? How does he even do that. ]

Yeah, lots of manual workers use towels. To wipe the sweat off their bodies, since they get all sweaty and wet in the fire...which is, you know, part od the appeal.

[Although it made them smell bad, but pictures don't convey that.]

Try draping it around your shoulders.

[ Hm. ]

That sounds….grimy.

[ To put things lightly. But alright! Give him a second to find an unoccupied space to stand, stare at the towel in his hand before draping it around his neck, and then slap on his most winning smile. ]

Well, it's not for me, but kudos to them for doing such gross work. Some people find it attractive.

[Taryon cannot agree with everyone else's tastes, but what can he say? He's here to provide tips on being sexy. He shrugs and gives Wriothesley a thumbs up.]

Alright, now hold that pose... [He takes one picture with his implant, makes a face when he notices the flaws in the lighting and angle, shifts to the side, and takes another. He keeps taking additional photos, playing with the camera settings, for a good minute before he says anything.]
