[ His short stay at Brimstone might or might have not taught him about a few things. It hasn't sunken in that sleeping arrangements mean sleeping together at night yet, it seems. ]

[ Meanwhile, she's not overly fussed at the thought of sleeping together. Mostly because that's a problem for future Lapis and she's underestimating 'sharing a bed with someone vs that someone being Jinwoo.' ]

[ Jinwoo raises his cuffed hand, only to realize that the handcuffs are invisible. He can still feel a ring hug his wrist, so there's no need to tug or test it. ]

[ There's a soft, curious sound as Jinwoo glances down at their cuffed hands - only to nod in understanding. People don't tend to walk around like this, so their handcuffs being visible would raise some questions. ]

Yeah, that would be a little difficult to explain... [ Going out dressed as a schoolgirl and a thug that one time already got them enough glances. Then Lapis pauses and blinks, canting her head at him again. ]

Donburi? [ She may have never tried that before, thanks to having a diet that was mainly "eating to stay full" before arriving here. So getting to try new things was never on the menu until now. ]

Mmhm, I'd like to try it.

It's a rice bowl with different toppings, so I'm sure you'll find something you like.

[ He forgot to explain, oops. As if to make up for that... Jinwoo offers his hand. ]

I don't know about you, but I'm getting hungry.

[ Lapis is excited to try anyway. And while she goes blink when Jinwoo offers his hand, there's very little hesitation in taking it - fingers wrapping around his hand. ]

... But she's also not a coward, so she huffs after a moment. He's probably not being serious about this but still. But still!! ]

Though his offer gets a blink, and she cants her head with a slight frown. It's sweet of him to offer, but it also wars with her well-worn habit of just handling things on her own. ]

If they... don't mind. I doubt they'll have much fun staying up with me.

[ Wait, this is the part in which Lapis says that there's no way she wants to do it. ]

[ He used to cough his lungs doing this routine not too long ago and yet, Lapis seems to be ready to do it anytime. ]

Maybe my soldiers should stay in your room at night if they have to take turns being cuddled.
