(The fun thing about being taken and thrown into a new place is no one really knows you so when Tsurumaru Kuninaga is missing from dinner, he's sure no one really notices. Eventually someone will learn that whenever he's missing for too long, he's probably up to something if he doesn't actually have something to do.

He returns some time towards the end of dinner, when most people have probably begun to settle a bit for the evening. He stumble-dashes back to the base with an armful of plastic shopping bags and oooh he is definitely up to something…)

& SET UP

In the Everlight wing, they need to do some ☆re-arranging☆. Some desks and chairs need to be borrowed from rooms to drag outside for the food. While they're at it, they might as well grab the blankets and pillows too. They might also have to figure out what appropriate music to play. So maybe someone knocks on your door to commandeer your furniture and time. Or maybe they figure out a way to play music so everyone can hear and you end up drawn out by music.

Maybe you get sent out to buy more snacks and drinks for everyone while you're standing around with nothing to do. Let's go, Everlights. It's time to drag people into early shenanigans.

& FOOD & GAMES

There is plenty of food to be found. Check out the mixed bottles of different flavored sodas and teas, assorted chocolates, and other sweets from the convenience stores. Eventually, a couple of pizzas and a few more substantial things might show up on the table. Some of them are traditional flavors characters will be used to seeing but others may… be more out there. There sure are a lot of more experimental foods combinations in the future, huh? Have you ever tried coffee-flavored water? Yogurt-flavored potato chips? Flaming hot lava chocolate? What about calamari Oreo pizza? Well, now is your chance.

There are also stacks of playing cards and maybe some other silly toys and games from whatever is the equivalent of a dollar/pound store in the future.The 100 Kryptos store? Which version of UNO do you know how to play? Do you know how to play Werewolf or Mafia? There are plenty of bottles to spin. Give someone a call and see if they answer or else you have to eat one of those cursed pizza slices. Of course, when enough people gather around, there are plenty of other ways to make your own fun.

& CHILL

For more introverted characters that might want a quieter place to hang out, some Everlight has probably left their room open. Pillows and blankets have been piled into the room to make it a quieter, more laidback place to hang out. When was the last time you made a pillow fort?

Hello, Tsuru gets bored easily and he wants everyone to have ☆good vibes☆ because bad vibes make him sad so he is steamrolling and dragging people into slumber party shenanigans. It's in the Everlight wing but other characters can hop over if they're curious or dragged in. I asked the mods about the potential consequences of staying the night and they said it would be fine for the slumber party so go wild.

[ Yuji is tugging on his shoes and hopping around like an idiot with one foot in the air, so he takes a moment to push the boot back on properly and retie the laces before he sees who he's talking to. Maybe he should be a little more careful with all these strangers around, but he doesn't quite have the heart for that even now.

Instead, he just beams at Vash. ]

I was gonna get some more snacks, and maybe some soda if they have something. The stuff here is kinda weird.

vash watches yuji hop around until he's gotten his boot properly back into place, beaming right back because there aren't very many people he's had the pleasure of meeting that seem to be able to match his energy from the very beginning —

have you actually met someone that can match your energy, vash? or is he the first one? it doesn't matter, because it means that there's probably a good chance that he isn't about to be told that he needs to calm down. or sit still.

at that last comment, though … ) You think it's weird? I don't think I've tried something that I didn't like yet. ( okay but. vash. you can be a bottomless pit when you're in the mood for it. ) Anyway, I'm sure more snacks is a good idea. Especially if people keep showing up to hang out.

[ Some of the food is fine, he thinks, he can admit that, but the odd flavours aren't really his kind of thing. Yuji likes simple food, things like noodles, and the combinations are turning out to be just on the edge of too much for him to handle. He doesn't mind if other people like them, though - which is why he's going out to get more snacks.

Properly dressed, he nods his head and grins at Vash, stretching his arms out to feel the tug on the muscles. He's going to be carrying a lot, so might as well get ready for it. ]

It's not horrible, but I'm happy with plain stuff. I don't need anything fancy.

[ Opening the door, he steps out with a little hum. ]

We could get some soda, too. I can carry it all no problem.

( it's a good thing it isn't a weak stomach that's keeping you from trying out all the new flavor combinations they have here; it's not like there are cursed fingers on the menu, or anything.

what? who said that? nobody, surely. it was just the wind.

vash has always just liked the thought that he was pretty adventurous when it came to trying new things, whether it's food or a beverage — not that there's a whole lot of variety when water-producing plants are kind of few and far between — but he can understand and respect another's desire to keep things simple. noodles are good. noodles are great, actually.

he steps out with him, falling in step beside him as they start walking. ) Nothing wrong with plain as long as you think it's good, right? ( he might sometimes be a bottomless pit, but that doesn't mean he can't appreciate simplicity. )

The orange stuff, for sure. Even if it makes me sneeze … ( the carbonation tickles, okay. ) And those Oreo things.

Yuji starts to head towards the nearby stores, hands in his pockets and attention focussed on the route. He's started to learn his way around, things similar enough to what he remembers from home, but he doesn't really want to end up getting lost either. That would result in a really awkward conversation with Fushiguro that he's not in the mood for.

Lifting his head to look up at Vash, he nods once. ]

Yeah, it's good. I think I'd be able to eat almost anything at this point, though, even if it is gross.

[ Perks of eating rotting fingers and not having a gag reflex, apparently. ]

Plain oreos, or the different flavours?

that's even worse than rotting. hrrk.

vash has been getting to know his way around, too, but it still looks like the other might know more than he does, so he keeps close beside him. he's never seen anything like this place before, though it stands to reason there's a whole lot left to be desired when you live on a desert planet, but he's been thinking that it looks like it would be easy enough to get lost if you turn one way instead of the other.

he's also a bit directionally challenged, but that's neither here nor there.

he quirks a brow at what yuji says next, casting his gaze sideways. ) Anything, huh? Clearly you've never had thomas jerky. ( and no, he doesn't mean jerky made from some poor guy named thomas.
