( OPEN ) we are here and going to make it everyone's problem
WHO: Team Everlight and YOU
WHAT: Breaking the ice with a spontaneous slumber party
WHERE: Everlight wing
WHEN: Some time after arrival
WARNINGS: Destroying friendships with UNO or something. Will edit for real as things come up.
(The fun thing about being taken and thrown into a new place is no one really knows you so when Tsurumaru Kuninaga is missing from dinner, he's sure no one really notices. Eventually someone will learn that whenever he's missing for too long, he's probably up to something if he doesn't actually have something to do.
He returns some time towards the end of dinner, when most people have probably begun to settle a bit for the evening. He stumble-dashes back to the base with an armful of plastic shopping bags and oooh he is definitely up to something…)

& SET UP
In the Everlight wing, they need to do some ☆re-arranging☆. Some desks and chairs need to be borrowed from rooms to drag outside for the food. While they're at it, they might as well grab the blankets and pillows too. They might also have to figure out what appropriate music to play. So maybe someone knocks on your door to commandeer your furniture and time. Or maybe they figure out a way to play music so everyone can hear and you end up drawn out by music.
Maybe you get sent out to buy more snacks and drinks for everyone while you're standing around with nothing to do. Let's go, Everlights. It's time to drag people into early shenanigans.

& FOOD & GAMES
There is plenty of food to be found. Check out the mixed bottles of different flavored sodas and teas, assorted chocolates, and other sweets from the convenience stores. Eventually, a couple of pizzas and a few more substantial things might show up on the table. Some of them are traditional flavors characters will be used to seeing but others may… be more out there. There sure are a lot of more experimental foods combinations in the future, huh? Have you ever tried coffee-flavored water? Yogurt-flavored potato chips? Flaming hot lava chocolate? What about calamari Oreo pizza? Well, now is your chance.
There are also stacks of playing cards and maybe some other silly toys and games from whatever is the equivalent of a dollar/pound store in the future. The 100 Kryptos store? Which version of UNO do you know how to play? Do you know how to play Werewolf or Mafia? There are plenty of bottles to spin. Give someone a call and see if they answer or else you have to eat one of those cursed pizza slices. Of course, when enough people gather around, there are plenty of other ways to make your own fun.

& CHILL
For more introverted characters that might want a quieter place to hang out, some Everlight has probably left their room open. Pillows and blankets have been piled into the room to make it a quieter, more laidback place to hang out. When was the last time you made a pillow fort?
// WILDCARD/OOC
Hello, Tsuru gets bored easily and he wants everyone to have ☆good vibes☆ because bad vibes make him sad so he is steamrolling and dragging people into slumber party shenanigans. It's in the Everlight wing but other characters can hop over if they're curious or dragged in. I asked the mods about the potential consequences of staying the night and they said it would be fine for the slumber party so go wild.
Treat this as an open mingle and feel free to come up with your own ideas and tag around. If anyone really needs me for anything, you can DM me or catch me on plurk (

Tch. If they keep doing this, they should work on fixing their damn tech to prevent that.
[Bringing in people to fight for you, but accidentally hamstringing them in the process is a stupid method of getting yourself helped out...]
Those fucking things were nothing more than a routine inspection. To see what we could do and how we fought.

[After the orientation questions that some people clearly weren't answering of their own volition... And the way LILITH picked them in the first place.]
They can't get lucky when they bring someone in every time. Most people don't have powers where I'm from.
no subject
[Katsuki knows there are some cagey answers when it comes to asking about why people show up with their powers dampened and so forth. They seem to be rather open about facets of what they want the Outsiders to do, but things outside of that...
...like how to get back home, for instance.]
Then it's pretty obvious why they picked you and not them.
no subject
[Even if they found his arrest record, everything related to the metaverse or his persona would have been excluded by the cops. Come to think of it, he might still be legally dead? Whoops.
On the other hand, there's Akechi's testimony...]
Most of the people I've talked to are part of organizations where you can't easily get that kind of information.
no subject
[Especially with people viewing them as Outsiders in the first place, not to mention probably having some kind of briefing on other Outsiders for Outsiders to view in order to find compatible partners for missions or the like... maybe. (Or Bakugo could, you know, try to make connections?)
He leans back against the wall, hands behind his head, red eyes glancing towards Ren and lips drawing into a frown.
Hold up...]
Are you talking about this place or did your brain wander back home?
no subject
He props one arm on Bakugo's desk and then his chin in that hand.]
Back home. We're all part of an organization like that here.
no subject
But that's Ren's problem.]
You mean a military or a bunch of mercenaries for hire.
[Or in their case, kidnapping.]
no subject
Where the general public isn't supposed to know who we are.
[Aka the whole thing that made LILITH give them all civilian identities.]
no subject
Heroes want to be public knowledge.]
Tch, our worlds are different. In my world, everyone knew who you were, if you were hero.
[Bakugo's not sure why LILITH gave them new identities, but whatever.]
no subject
Coupled with the quirks, Ren thinks he's seen this Marvel movie.]
Like a superhero? They usually have secret identities, too, in my experience.
no subject
Don't you "Marvel movie" at him, dammit.]
Most of our identities are known. Heroes in my world are a public occupation working with the law rather than a bunch of vigilantes doing whatever the fuck they want.
[Heart in the right place, yes, but taking matters into their own hands using their powers as they will only leads to temptation and bullying. If not might-makes-right mentality and infighting that creates more villains than heroes ultimately.]
no subject
Wait, so is working as a hero what you meant when you said you kick the asses of people who piss you off?
[The question is a little more guarded than Ren had been prior.]
no subject
If you're a reckless idiot or a villain breaking the law and hurting or killing innocent people, yeah.
[And then Bakugo's just someone who kicks asses of people who piss him off in general. He notes the change in Ren's voice, but doesn't mention it for now.]
Heroes also respond to natural disasters, human wrecks, and other shit that threatens to harm people. Heroes protect. It's who we are.
no subject
[It's so easy to say someone or something is there to protect when all they do is what's most convenient for them, in the end. Does that mean he's written off Bakugo? Hardly, but it does mean he'll exercise caution, in a way that isn't much different from how he handled his double life back home.]
Not so different from what LILITH is asking us to do, then.
[The way he says it is neutral but does he really mean it neutrally.
no subject
Because of that, the blonde likewise decides to keep an eye on Ren as well. No one said everyone brought to this world is going to fit the stereotypical "good guy" mold. Bakugo doesn't plan to compromise himself for anyone.]
You're not the only one who noticed that. Didn't kick a lot of bad buy butt where you're from?
[That's a dig and Ren can take it however he wants.]
no subject
It wasn't part of our curriculum. Where I'm from, heroes are just something you see in a movie, or someone who climbs a tree to save a cat.
[And that's why he's a phantom thief instead.]
no subject
[But that would kind of explain some degree of Ren's perceived attitude about heroes. He's never seen a real hero, never seen a world where heroes were a vocation rather than some one-off doing a good dead in the neighborhood. When the term "hero" was applied so flagrantly. Instead, the kind of heroes Bakugo's used to are locked away solely in movies (and he assumes comics) in Ren's world. That's... a pretty big clash.]
I'll show you what a real hero does.
