[OPEN] knockin' on heaven's door
WHO: Kaworu Nagisa and fellow members of Brimston.
WHAT: Being a nosy little brat
WHERE: Brimstone Dorm
WHEN: Soon after arrival
WARNINGS: Nothing now. Will warn if anything comes up.
[Hello, fellow member of Brimstone.
A day or after you arrive, someone will come knock on your door.
Well, technically, first he grabs the handle and tries to open the door. There's a pause and then the knock. It's not a soft, inquiring knock, it's an energetic knock that goes on much longer than really necessary, like it's done by someone who doesn't understand a knock is a request and not a summons.
If you answer the knock, or come across him knock on yours/a day, he'll drop his hand and look at you with an amused curiosity.]
So. Who are you then?
[Yup, that's it. That's the important question at the center of all this knocking.]
((OOC: Feel free to use this post for anything Brimstone related. I am just very busy this weekend and wanted to toss something up in case I miss the text mingle.
Freel free to hit me up at PM,
worldtype/worldtype at Discord for anything!))

Freel free to hit me up at PM,

[The First was quiet and didn't know who she really was. The Second was angry at everyone due to her own deficiencies.]
Kaworu Nagisa.
no subject
[ they all got something going on, in other words. ]
Is that all you came here for?
no subject
[Neon Gensis Evangelion Episode XX: Everyone Do Got Something Going On All Right]
Yes. Do you think it was strange of me to come for such a thing?
no subject
No, you're good. Honestly, they should've made us introduce ourselves in the group instead of stuffing us into our respective rooms and call it a day.
[ also, human teenagers? is he not human himself? or just another case of a person who doesn't want to fit in. ]
From what I've seen, there's plenty of teens your age around here. Dunno why LILITH even thought of recruiting kids in the first place, but so long as they get the job done, I can't really complain.
no subject
[Still, he seems to be intrigued by this all the same.]
What do you think of this, Ishmael? Why do you agree to fight for... LILITH.
[There's a flash of displeasure in his voice at the name.]
no subject
[ and that's the reason why kids shouldn't be enlisted into these things at all, not until they reach their 20s. although, maybe she only thinks that because she's a nest kid herself who had it much better than the other sinners of the bus. she isn't one to talk.
so instead, she'll focus on that question of his, humming thoughtfully as she crosses her arms together. ]
It's not like I agreed to fight for them. LILITH, I mean. All of us don't have a choice on the matter. I'm used to bullshit Offices and Associations and their shady ways to get people to action, but that doesn't mean I have to like it, y'know?
no subject
Certainly, none of us here can match LILITH in power.
no subject
[ why is this kid stating the obvious... ]
And how about you? Aren't you... bothered by all this?
no subject
[Because he thinks acting like he knows things is how to make good conversation.]
Besides, the last thing that happened to me was my own death. I certainly never expected anything more. Least of all anything like this. A place where I can go anywhere and speak to whomever I want.
no subject
[ whoa, this kid is so open about things that are usually kept as secrets? is he okay (no one in brimstone is okay, actually)
but also, the line about being someone's tool does strike a chord in her. she gets you, little guy. somewhat. ]
Well, this sure is one way of enjoying your newfound freedom. But there's a chance that our future battles are going to be just as deadly. Are you prepared to die all over again?
no subject
I don't fear death. It's simply a state of nonbeing. There's no pain or confusion.
[He pauses, as if a part of him is vexed by what he is going to say next, and then continues.]
But I don't want to die for someone else's goals. If I die again then it will be because I chose to accept this mission.
ignore the weird font i used in my previous tag, help
she stares at him a bit longer, then smiles. ]
That's the spirit. Glad you reached that realization at this age.
It is ignored /salute
[This is asked with incredible genuineness.]
no subject
[ she smirks. that's definitely something to be proud of. ]
