When Aventurine enters their quarters the first thing he notices is that there isn't the small pack of cats running up to him to greet him, nor are they lounging on their tower. Instead it's just Ratio, sitting alone on the bed.

He can't help but grin at that, swanning into the room and coming to stop in front of Ratio. It's easy to put a finger under Ratio's chin and lift his head up enough for Aventurine to kiss him, light and teasing. )
