Well, I used to think Melusines were the land form that sea hares turned into when they hopped out of the ocean instead of being a race all their own. Felt pretty embarrassed when someone pointed out that they weren't.

When I was sixteen, I broke my thumb in my very first boxing match because I kept it on the outside of my fingers rather than tucking it into my fist. A few years ago, I lost a bet with a friend of mine and had to wear my hair in two small pigtails with ribbons pinned on each side.
