[ while on one hand he's more likely to ask someone about their goals for the immediate future than anything personal, he does comprehend that isn't exactly the point of the game. instead, he focuses on the aspect of shame and embarrassment.

but, at the same time, he can't exactly envision denji being abashed by anything... ]

[ kinda, sorta feels like he's winning already since the question earned yuwon an easy smile. there's not much thought behind it, and denji is quick to answer. ]

jk, denji isn't exactly cheating, and yuwon isn't exactly going to argue with a teen over this. but, he is going to give him a distinct look. ] Is that really how this works?

[ believe it or not, denji is not trying to be an ass here. yes, it was kinda fun messing with the other, but nothing malicious (yet). he rolled his eyes, aware his little stunt would make yuwon act careful now. great.

What scares you the most?

[ it's true that he knows of denji as a fairly good-natured individual. at the very least, he's never struck him as being particularly malicious. mischievous on the other hand? well, he suppose it comes with the age and territory.

[ the first statement earned yuwon a supportive nod and shrug— yup, fair enough. no one is out there actively running after their biggest anxieties and it's a valid acknowledgment that it's a feeling people tend to avoid. denji can relate, waiting for an answer, only to end up with nothing.

a part of him wanted to call out that man a cheater, yet he hesitated before spitting that accusation in his direction. there is something about yuwon that implies that he's trying to be truthful, even if the outcome is somewhat unclear. ]

The future, huh? [ future devil. hmm, it's a fear most people have, but there has to be more to it. there is a reason behind it aside from the fear of the unknown. before they can proceed with the game, denji interrupts-] But, wait, if that's true ... then you're scared every single day. Is that it? You're just scared of what might come up tomorrow?

[ there's a minute where he simply studies denji's expression, as if studying what he thinks of his words, or what conclusions he's made. in spite of himself, he gives a small hint of a smile. ] I wouldn't say everyday. Do I strike you as that kind of coward?

[ it's a joke, he's not serious if just for comprehending how his words may have came up. ]

Do you ever get the feeling, or hear of something, and wonder if it could happen? Maybe it's like that. [ except, instead of gut feelings, or whispers on the streets— it's the very real vision of the future he's one lived that awaits him at the end of the road. ]
