TRAVEL LOG #4
TRAVEL LOG #4
βΆ 001. RECENT REPORTS.
The week leading into the new month is characterized by the distinct shift in weather patterns across Japan. Within Neo Tokyo, heavy rainfall with low level flooding is disrupting the business and commute of the local people. Even more temperate regions around Okinawa, and the small outer islands, will find themselves with an influx of tropical storms. Northern regions such as Hokkaido will find that some of the snow will have melted down, and the sun is running hot for the season. These strange occurrences seem to have the research team running on overtime, seeing if this has any link or correlation to any kaiju and the rifts.
To make matters worse, the Imugi hatchlings have begun to exhibit strange behaviors they never have before. While the hatchlings did seem to gain stability over the past month, now they are showing signs of extreme distress. They seem more on edge, enough to the point where entry to visit them has been appropriately blocked off until they find the source of their stress. The researchers have found in recent days that this seems to directly correlate to the weather, and what they see as rift energy in various parts of Japan. Over the week they narrow down these rifts to two specific locations which have a high chance of being the source -- Kagoshima and Yamanashi.
LILITH believes this is deeply connected to patterns that they've seen in records from South Korea, before their connections were severed due to the battle that took place last year. As a result, LILITH's Japan branch is doing their best to see if they're able to work with the tensions of the past in order to receive further research and information from the new government that rose from the destruction of Seoul, and is presently in Busan. While efforts to rebuild a branch there are progressing, they are reluctant to offer anything outside of the bare minimum or what is readily known to the public.
In light of these events, Outsiders are told to prepare for their leave soon. Unlike the sudden blare of their alarm, they offer the Outsiders time to begin preparing for the next mission. They will be given an additional stipend that amounts to 200 USD to be spent on supplies, or other personal resources necessary. Outsiders are encouraged to group up however they would like and go on a shopping spree to places such as FamilyMart, 7-Eleven and Don Quijote. Remember, only buy what you absolutely need!! (Or don't. It's not like LILITH is gonna be monitoring that.)

βΆ 002. DATA COLLECTION.
After much back and forth, the branch in Busan does provide limited reports on their tracking of the Imugi's movements, both prior and after the catastrophe in Seoul. Per their reports, they are able to come to several conclusions in regards to the Imugi.
The Imugi that had escaped has further evolved, and even from the point in which it appeared in South Korea, has evolved to be even stronger than before. This Imugi is able to adapt to any weather condition, and even retains some control over the environment. The Imugi possesses intellect which seems to surpass many of the kaiju they have encountered in the past. The Imugi is able to use the rifts as a means of travel. Unlike some kaiju which appear from the rifts almost arbitrarily, the Imugi seems to have full control over its ability to travel within them, which makes it effective at evading most tracking methods. In addition, after further studies, it was found that the Imugi is able to inflict severe Rift poisoning due to its connection with the rifts. They state that while Seoul was physically devastated, most of the casualties were from the rift poisoning which took place after.
With the reports they receive, they also find that the two locations in Japan exhibited similar flows of rift energy, and are most likely to be in connection with the kaiju. As there are two locations in which have to be physically monitored, the Outsiders will once more need to be split up into teams. Everlight and Revelation will be sent to Yamanashi, while Brimstone and Redemption will be sent to Kagoshima. With this confirmation, it's highly likely that the female Imugi has returned.
Within those groups, LILITH will ask for those with experience with the Imugi to handle briefing others in their team who are not as familiar. As the Imugi does possess a variety of skills, Outsiders will also be asked to stick with those from an opposing team as a safety precautio as they believe each team member should be able to supplement for another. In addition, these teams are asked to stick together even prior to leaving the base in order to increase their ability to work as a team for the duration of the mission. While the travel time to each place is relatively short, videos on teamwork and strategy will be played and cannot be muted or turned off. Here is a recap of the Imugi from last year's debrief sheet with some extra information:
Once each group arrives, they are expected to explore each region and gather whatever data they can.

Here is a recap of the Imugi from last year's debrief sheet with some extra information:
β β β MONSTER DEBRIEF SHEET
NAME: IMUGI β
HEIGHT: 1000 feet across, 30 feet high
WEIGHT: 2000kg
CLASS: Extremely Dangerous
LOCATION: ???, Japan
ABILITIES: Control over weather conditions, including summoning of heavy storms, lightning strikes and hurricanes. Can fly up to 1000 feet. By flying amongst the clouds, Imugi releases chemicals into the atmosphere that bring about acid rain. Armored scales, sharp teeth and claws.
WEAKNESSES: Piercing it in the gaps between its impenetrable scales. There is also a particularly weak spot under on it's neck that will deal significant damage if pierced.
EXTRA NOTES: From its initial appearance and behavior, specialists believe that this female Imugi confirmed to be the mother of the hatchlings. This appears to be the female counterpart to the kaiju in Seoul that was killed by the Outsiders after causing havoc on South Korea. Despite them both being the same type of kaiju, likely derived from the same rift, this kaiju seems slightly more agile and openly aggressive.
Once each group arrives, they are expected to explore each region and gather whatever data they can.
βΆ 003. KAGOSHIMA.
Reports continue to come in from the various outposts and remaining settlements around Kagoshima. There are constant tremors in the area and some of them manifest as full blown earthquakes that can be felt across other parts of the country and trigger tsunamis along the coast. While the region is no longer as populated as it once was, there are pockets of unfortunate civilians taking refuge in abandoned houses who will need to be rescued and evacuated (some may put up resistance). As these are typical signs of an imminent kaiju attack, the area is on high alert.
Ominously, the Kagoshima Bay area seems is exhibiting strange occurrences of dead and mutated fish washing up on the shore and any other animals in the area meet the same fate. These animals have extra limbs or organs, mysterious burns on their flesh, and have grown in size. Some animals have survived but they have mutated into unstable kaiju hybrids. They aren't very strong and don't live for very long but before they die, they become extremely violent.
LILITH researchers who try to investigate eventually become extremely ill and it has hindered their progress. They experience typical symptoms of Rift poisoning (headache, nausea, impulsive behavior, hallucinations) but also burning of the eyes, skin, and lungs. Before onset, they report spelling something foul in the air.
While getting close to the bay is difficult, it's easy to see that something is wrong. Aside from the loss of life, the water in the bay appears more polluted and smells rotten. The famous Sakurajima Island at the center of the bay has always been active but now it lets out unusual multi-coloured smoke. The clouds carry volcanic ash that completely covers large areas making it difficult to move and hard to breathe. The volcano constantly erupts and wind carries shards of cooled magma slivers. The shards cut skin, sting eyes, and can cause serious internal damage if breathed in.
The waves are too dangerous and flight conditions are poor so it is difficult to approach. However, the constant lava flows over the years have created a bridge on the other side of the bay called Ohsumi. Despite the high risks and plentiful unknown factors, Outsiders are tasked with investigating the area around Kagoshima Bay and reaching Sakurajima by this bridge.
Be careful of the toxic gases in the air, Rift poisoning, earthquakes, kaiju hybrids, and volcanic shards. Outsiders are strongly urged to keep their suits on. Outsiders will be flown near to the area via aircraft, and proceed the rest of the way using camper vehicles to reach Ohsumi and find out what kaiju threat is approaching. (Camper vehicles sit 4-5 people each and Seok Dang has kindly programmed his questionable pre-recorded driving lessons into each vehicle.)

βΆ 004. YAMANASHI.
Closer to home, the residents of Neo Tokyo can sense that something is happening outside the city. The sky is clearer in the winter months, allowing everyone to see Mt. Fuji in the distance. From the city, everyone can see that dark clouds have gathered around Mt. Fuji. There is widespread panic that Fuji may be preparing to erupt but despite the perceived activity, there have been no tremors. Meteorologists report that this is purely an atmospheric phenomenon.
Clouds spread every day and begin to affect Neo Tokyo. Weather patterns become unpredictable and extreme. Heavy rains flood lower parts of the city one moment and then turn to a mix of snow and ice the next. The temperature drops dramatically and suddenly spikes to warmer weather at other times. Strong winds cause serious damage to buildings and there are reports of tornados touching down in the outskirts. These worsening conditions not only put a significant strain on the local businesses, but there are reports of these strong winds blowing away children and the frail elderly, and flash floods drowning those unable to escape in time. This entire time, Mt. Fuji flashes as lightning repeatedly strikes it. Given the mountain's significance to the people, they worry that this might be some sort of sign that something terrible is coming. In a panic, people begin to stock up on emergency supplies. They buy out stores, hoard goods, and stick closer to the entrances for underground shelters. Some even resort to crime, looting the evacuated apartments or stealing supplies from other people.
While Outsiders may be asked by other authorities to help keep peace in the city, LILITH's priority is investigating Mt. Fuji. They will be sent to Yamanashi prefecture by camper vehicles. (They sit 4-5 people each and Seok Dang has kindly programmed his questionable pre-recorded driving lessons into each vehicle.) It takes about 6 hours to arrive in Yamanashi due to the destruction and weather. It won't be a smooth ride, either. The weather continues to storm, with heavy winds knocking over trees to block their paths, the rain triggering landslides, and lightning strikes that keep conveniently striking wherever they are. On top of that, the rift-affected animals found a month prior have further mutated. The local fauna have grown in size and viciousness, and they make the trip there treacherous. Outsiders may encounter mutated boars slamming into their camper vehicles, or oversized, snarling monkeys trying to captured people and swoop them away. Find a safe and secluded area to park and help out any citizens who may need help.

βΆ 005. AFTERWORD.
Welcome to our fourth travel log!
There are no assigned seats this time, so characters may travel with whoever they choose or assume that LILITH has assigned you. All camper vans come with a driving instruction program installed. You can find more information about these vehicles here. It is highly encouraged to stay within your assigned team mission, but in the chaos LILITH is not going to enforce a relocation if somebody ends up where they aren't supposed to be. Communications remain open across all teams but might be a bit spotty in the weather conditions.
All tags on this log are worth 2 points and will count towards February AC.

EVENT BREAKDOWN/RECAP (CLICK TO EXPAND)
1. RECENT REPORTS: The weather across Japan has become unpredictable. The Imugi hatchlings have become very distressed and LILITH is temporarily restricting access to them. LILITH is reaching out to their sister base in South Korea to find out whatever information they can.
2. DATA COLLECTION: LILITH South Korea provides some information regarding the Imugi. We find out that is has become stronger than before. It has evolved and is now able to control not only the weather, but rift travel. It can also inflict severe rift poisoning. Outsider and split into two teams to explore two key locations: Kagoshima and Yamanashi.
3. KAGOSHIMA: Brimstone and Redemption are being sent here via campervan. There are reports of earthquakes, dead/mutated animals along with signs of severe rift poisoning in researchers. The volcano in Sakurajima island is emitted toxic, multi-coloured smoke. Outsiders must cross the bridge to get closer but beware rift poisoning, earthquakes and kaiju hybrids.
4. YAMANASHI: Everlight and Revelation are being sent here. Neo Tokyo is experiencing worsening weather conditions such as floods, unusual snowfall and tornadoes, which is causing a panic amongst the people. Outsiders have to take a campervan to travel toward Mt. Fuji but they may be faced with extreme weather conditions (such as lightning) and kaiju hybrid attacks.
III
In fact Kaga's leaning against Akagi, arms folded, head turned to the side to look over her sister's shoulder and out the window as well. Anything to not pay attention to the other occupants. ]
Honestly... they should've let us fly on ahead. This is a waste of our abilities.
[ Of course in this weather even they'd have problems. Kaga's just grumbling because of the situation. ]
no subject
[Poor weather notwithstanding, it's not as if aircraft can't fly in, though, or above storms. Regardless of how terrible the conditions are. Akagi is far more worried over the volcanic ash clouds and quarantined zones than anything else. Inconveniences aside, she's still fine with being driven around as well. It's just...
...her eyes glance around the now rather cramped vehicle.
Well, Akagi would have also rather driven herself, or be the one driving right now. It's fine, she told herself, it's all fine!]
I suppose it is still a good idea to stay close with the others, but... well, it is a waste to not at least have our aircraft, or any aircraft, above or ahead of us... I take it that you're bored, Kaga?
no subject
[ Bored she could just read, or focus on flying cover for the vans with her planes, or sleep. Bored wouldn't involve her chest feeling tight and her heart feeling like it's dropped to the pit of her stomach.
Kaga's eyes glance around the camper at the others where ever they're situated, and she lets out a huff, her voice lowering. ]
There's people here I'd rather not be confined with right now. This drive is going to make me insane.
no subject
[Akagi-sama hums and haws for a moment. Then stands up and swiftly moves to make herself comfy on Kaga's lap.]
Am I, one of those people~?
[She's joking, of course. Then again, with how clingy and infuriating Akagi can get at times, maybe she is one of the said people on Kaga's avoidance list?]
That would absolutely break my heart, Kaga~.
[And you know what happens when someone breaks her heart...]
no subject
Thankfully for everyone Kaga has no intention of putting Akagi in that state. While she's letting out a grunt of surprise followed by a sigh of the long suffering, she doesn't do anything to eject Akagi from her lap. ]
Of course not, Nee-sama. Don't be ridiculous.
[ Kaga's ears give a twitch as she scoots closer to the window, allowing her to rest her elbow on the sill and prop her chin up on her palm as she stares outside. All without disrupting Akagi's seat, or having to make eye contact. ]
It's just... somethings happened last month. With Hiyori and Yato... [ Wow look at that, Akagi, your sister doesn't use honorifics for either of those two now! ] It would've been good for them to be nowhere near me.
no subject
Naturally.
It is a very good thing for everyone, indeed. Now, excuse her a she makes herself comfy~.]
Oh? Well, I don't think it's my place to pry. But you know avoidance doesn't help. At least, that's one thing I've learned from you.
[In the meantime, Akagi leans down, closer to Kaga's face. While one hand reached to gently grasp her sister's chin and turn her head to face Akagi's.]
And besides, you also know full well that it wouldn't do to have friction between us on the battlefield.
no subject
N-nee-sama, please... control yourself. Humans find this sort of thing...
[ An awkward cough and then a sigh. That reservation is going to fall on remarkably deaf fox ears, Kaga's well aware of that fact. That aside Kaga can't stay under the gaze of those red eyes and not feel some of her walls want to come down.
No avoiding it. She wanted to tell Akagi anyway. Akagi knows Kaga better than she knows herself sometimes, if anyone can provide advice... ]
You were right. During New Years, in the inn? About how I feel. And... they know now too.
[ She chews her bottom lip, her ears pinning flat to her head. ]
I almost took advantage of Yato when he tried to talk to me about it. That's why I want to be away from the two of them.
no subject
[So says miss, "I don't mind if you take me right here and now". Besides, Akagi has so much affection within herself that it's hard to keep it all bottled up! The following words are not what she expected. Probably. A lot of that time is still incredibly hazy for the fox. She remembers teasing Kaga and Yato and waking up feeling terrible the next day.
She still giggles and rolls with it.]
I see. Kaga, you are sometimes genuinely too soft-hearted.
[Akagi presses her lips against Kaga's forehead before leaning into press them against one, fluffy, white ear as it pinned itself down.]
And do they also want that? Or are you feeling like you've broken their trust and don't want to feel like that towards him?
[Her other hand moved to loving stroke Kaga's head from behind. Akagi's fingers combing softly through that lovely white hair.]
no subject
Besides as embarrassing as it is it's also a comfort. ]
Tsk. I am not soft hearted.
[ Bullshit.
Akagi's reassurance gets Kaga to unpin her ears at least, because she's tickling them if nothing else. ]
But, no, they don't. Yato's an idiot and barely realizes how bad this is. Hiyori...? She's insistent we stay friends.
[ A pause and a sigh as Kaga leans back in the seat, gently thumping the back of her head against it. ]
I want to as well. I care about them. But I need space, damn it. I don't trust myself right now...
no subject
Kaga never seemed to mind much anyway (in Akagi's mind).]
Yes, yes, you have a heart of cold stone, actually.
[She's giggling and rests her cheek on Kaga's head while still teasing those ears.]
It doesn't sound bad to me. Especially if his overprotective betrothed didn't seem worried.
[And why would she when Kaga is now acting like this? As Kaga moves her head back, Akagi shifts her body a bit, moving to straddle her legs on either side of Kaga's to face her fully. Her hands now on Kaga's shoulders.]
Yet both of them trust you-- I obviously trust you more than anyone else here. You can take your time to sort your feelings but just remember that everyone is still behind you anyway.
no subject
Tsk. Don't forget it.
[ She sighs grumpily and fidgets once Akagi fixes her with that look. She knows Akagi's right, of course, Akagi almost always is. If Hiyori didn't trust Kaga she wouldn't be so insistent that their friendship not end. If Yato didn't trust Kaga he wouldn't put up with her bouts of violence and then talk with her as if nothing happened. ]
Mmm... true enough, Hiyori hasn't tried to throw me from the van yet.
[ Even tense as the atmosphere in this camper may be. It's... possibly the closest thing to home Kaga has right now. Surrounded by people who she cares about that trust her and care for her in turn. T
A beat, another sigh, and Kaga opens her eyes again. ]
When did you first realize you loved the Commander, Nee-sama? I don't think you've ever mentioned.
[ A sure fire way to get Akagi's attention elsewhere. Besides hearing her sister's point of view might help Kaga sort her own feelings, or at the least understand them a little better. ]
no subject
[It is nice to love and be loved~! So don't mind Akagi embarrass you even more, Kaga~! Because she's going to be more than happy to do so all in public. Fufu...]
If she tried that then I would strap the both of you together on a chair until you get along.
[And she almost certainly means that! Why are things this tense? Akagi must be missing something here. Perhaps she should make things looser~.
Oh, but then Kaga just had to go and ask that. She just had to utter those words, ask that question!]
K-Kaga? What are you asking so suddenly? [Squirming in Kaga's lap ensues!]
I could have sworn that you already knew. It was far back when we first encountered them.
[Ah- that takes her back!]
They looked so cool during their visit to the Sakura Empire, and even more amazing in battle...!
no subject
[ She'd definitely put up a fight, that's for sure. Akagi would probably win out in the end but not without some effort. The important thing however is the fact that Akagi would go that far to try and preserve a friendship Kaga values, whether Kaga and Hiyori liked it or not.
The thought means a lot. ]
Hmm? Nee-sama, are you embarrassed?
[ Kaga can't help herself. She giggles, a cute little girlish giggle. Flustering Akagi is just a thing that just does not happen. Usually it's Kaga who's left squirming. ]
It's... been awhile. I don't remember much of it, honestly.
[ Kaga's memories of the Commander as a whole have been oddly scrambled. She can't remember their face, or their name, or even their voice. It's maddening. ]
So it was right then...? What did it feel like? Do you remember what you thought when you realized what your feelings were?
[ So many questions! It's almost like someone who's ignored interpersonal relationships is trying to figure out how to understand and sort out her own feelings. ]
no subject
[All of them, Kaga~!]
We're quite close friends now, you see.
[Oh so very close, good friends. And she'll make certain that Kaga and Hiyori also remain close good friends too! Even if she has to do this and that.]
I'm not embarrassed just... ah~! Remembering~!
[She doesn't even react to Kaga's giggle immediately, and how cute it is. Kyaaa~! Shikikan-sama~!]
It felt like Akagi's heart was on fire and about to burst through my chest. Though much of their time had been spent as part of a delegation, I still treasure those little moments we had.
[A soft sigh is elicited from her.]
Just as I'll treasure that cute giggle of yours, Kaga.
no subject
[ Ah there Akagi goes, trying to fluster Kaga by calling her cute. Kaga isn't letting her get away with it though.
Sure her cheeks flush but Kaga stays on task! ]
You're ridiculous.
[ She sighs and rolls her eyes. ]
What do you think the difference between that and obsession is? Or lust? They all seem so similar... how can you tell which is which?
no subject
[And derail her! Task succeeded? But just what could Akagi have meant by "there's also"? Whelp! Not getting that answer now!]
Love makes us do ridiculous things. But you should also know that. Still, I would say that lust is a longing, burning sensation to be with someone. Obsession is a desire for something or someone that drives you to a point where you don't care if you cause others harm.
[Kaga, is this some sort of test to see if Akagi's actually fine and dandy? Cause she totally is!
She really, totally, is.]

[ She shouldn't ask! Her darker side is making her ask, it's not like it's information Kaga could or would ever act on. What a horrible woman she's turning into. ]
Nee-sama? Those sound like they're all the same thing.
[ Stated flatly as she her head tilts to the side and her ears flick. This doesn't exactly help Kaga, if lust and obsession are so similar then are they not also love as well? Is there truly no difference?
Creator's sake, Kaga's really screwed here isn't she? ]
I don't think I'm built for this "love" thing. Not outside of what I have for my sisters. Everything else seems so complicated...
[ She sighs and looks off to the side, gazing past Akagi to the window, her ears and tails drooping as the Sad Fox mode takes over. ]

[She might be making things up? Something to tease Kaga with and joke about. Then again, Akagi could also be truthful here... which she kind of is. Though the weakness that she's talking about is going to be Hiyori's ability to be flustered when teased. Something Akagi managed to get a nice, chest-to-chest revelation of back during the little sleepover.
Ah, so cute~!]
They sound like it, yes. But they're fundamentally different. Just remember how I acted, all the things born from obsession.
[If Kaga really wants an example of the difference between the two, then really all she needs to do is recall all the things that Akagi has done before.]
Obsession can be born from love and act on it, but it's not necessarily lust or love. I think you're more than built for it. Everyone is, it's just not something that can be forced.
[So says the one that's very pushy with her feelings.]

[ Kaga's face heats up as she grumbles out the words. She could kick herself, really! She's promised to do her best to manage these feelings and yet there she went and tried to get ammo to further serve them? Ugh, she's the worst.
If she had any idea how bad Akagi's teasing of poor Hiyori had been though, Kaga would probably blue screen on the spot... ]
You weren't yourself.
[ Kaga says it without hesitation or fear of reprisal. Akagi's better now, Kaga can be candid about things, and the truth of the matter is Akagi was most certainly not herself. She'd been driven so far in her mad quest to revive Amagi that she was even willing to end countless Sakurian souls in her efforts, going against her very purpose as a KAN-SEN.
So that's what obsession is. A burning all consuming flame that wipes out everything for the sake of the target of it, even if said target would be horrified by the efforts the obsession drives a person to.
It doesn't have to be about love either. What were Bismarck's experiments and Crimson Axis's war but the results of obsession themselves? Obsession for power, obsession to protect their people and defeat the Sirens no matter the cost.
If KAN-SEN have one major flaw, Kaga's realizing, it's that they seem to be given to blinding obsessions. Interesting... but not pertinent, she files that away to think over later.
After going on a space trip for a minute there Kaga's blinking rapidly and shaking her head to clear her thoughts, still one thing bothering her. ]
Alright... but what about lust? Doesn't it need love of some form to be able to exist in the first place?
[ Kaga surely knows that's not entirely true. Pure carnal desire is something she gets as a concept, but hearing it put into words from one of a few handful of people she'd trust is what'll help her figure out where to place her own feelings. ]

[Her voice is all singsong~! Kaga could blue screen out just like Hiyori~! It will be perfect, delicious, wonderful! An absolute, and wonderful time for all!
There's all sorts of ways to build teamwork, and that would clearly be one of them. Probably, at least it would get them all to calm down and bond.]
I suppose not, but I was still in control of myself and knew what I was doing.
[Which made it all the worse, and all the more reason for why she knows reprisal is going to follow for everything that she's done. It would all be fine, no matter what the outcome of Nagato's decision might be.]
Hm? You're asking a lot of questions you already know the answers to.
[It's not like Kaga's a pure butterfly. Still Akagi sighs and thinks for a moment.]
No, it doesn't need love itself. It can be driven by many things but can lack the passion it might have if love is involved.
[Geez, what's with this conversation? A roaming hand reaches down and around Kaga to gently pet a tail.]
As for love... there are many different ways to express one's love. But you know that as well, Kaga~.

[ Kaga's word is really one of the only things she has to stand by anymore. Her pride as a warrior has been challenged again and again, as well as her very philosophy. The one thing that won't change is when her word is given she'll sooner die than break it. And she intends to cling to that.
Kaga jumps suddenly at the attention to her tail, a foxy yelp escaping her. She gives Akagi a harsh look for half a second, totally undermined by her wagging tails, then she sighs and closes her eyes. ]
I know, I know. But... damn it. [ An annoyed growl as she slams her fist into the back of the seat behind her. Her organic one, thankfully, no damage to the camper today. ] Nothing makes sense to me right now.
I can't stop thinking about it. Playing over what happened between Yato and I in his room... what could've happened. Or what might've happened if I'd... UGH!
[ Another slam of her fist, an annoyed huff as she leans back and thuds her head against the back of the seating. ]
I need to kill something. Something that's a challenge. Otherwise my mind's going to stick on this... pointless nonsense!

[Siiiigggghhhssss!!! Oh well, that's why Kaga is the down to earth, straight man out of the two sisters! Akagi's used to it at this point-- it certainly never kept her from going along with Akagi's schemes anyway. Or from her toying with Kaga's tails, letting her fingers run through that soft, white fur~. Akagi really does have a delightful sister~!]
Excercise would be good for you. But so is talking about it and confronting it, like a strong warrior.
[Her petting continues, this time she goes ahead and gives Kaga's ear a peck. As handsy and physical as ever. Geez, where's Amagi and the Commander when you need someone to help carry the burden of Akagi's affections!?]
You also know that it's not a pointless something and can't be avoided. Just like my love for you, Amagi, and Shikikan-sama. If you do, then it will just all burst out at once.

A strong warrior doesn't let things like this distract them in the first place...!
[ That's the argument she intends to make but Akagi, as in most circumstances, has a good point. Kaga can't ignore these kind of things, not forever, she'll end up going mad.
Akagi's affections have Kaga's ear twitching and the white fox squirming, finally trying to dislodge Akagi and escape from her. Usually this would be a comfort, but today? She's overloaded. ]
I'm going to go for a walk. I just need to get out of this van for awhile. Keep an eye on Kiko for me, would you Nee-sama?
