( open. ) firefighter calendar mingle!
WHO: everyone!
WHAT: the firefighters put out a calendar every year and guess who is getting everyone involved.
WHERE: the venue for the photoshoot, somewhere in the city.
WHEN: within the first week of their arrival.
WARNINGS: nudity or partial nudity? will update warnings as they come.
The firefighters are looking for models to assist in their yearly calendar. Last year due to some mishaps, they missed the due date for this beloved tradition in the city, and so are not looking to really make sure everything is flawless this year. Since is no error for mistakes, they are even recruiting people to model as firefighters, as well as looking for people who can act as temporary photographers— in a city as busy as this one, it isnβt always easy booking a photographer for certain time slots.β¨
everyone is free to put up their top levels and tag around as they see fit. you can see it as you were messaged by someone randomly on the network about an opportunity to make additional kyptos, or they could have even found an ad. whatever works!

1. As a photographer they are tasked to make the calendar spicy, but also unique! They figure one of the best selling points is variety. No more poses, the more avant-garde, the weirder even, the better! Like if your thing is posing with a carton of eggs, you do you!NOTE: hi, this is the log for the firefighter calendar!
2. Models are incentivized and even ranked (this is arbitrary, so I leave that all to you), so maybe this can also lift the competitive spirit of some! Or maybe you just really want to make some extra kryptos!
3. Outside of photographers and models, also looking for people who can enhance the overall experience. Do coffee runs for everyone, while also hyping or judging the models! Whatever they say fit! People can even stumble into these roles thinking they were here for a completing different reason! Or go out on an errand to come back and suddenly everyone is not as they once were.
4. Just have fun and free to make up your own scenarios! Even if it's walking in like π§ββοΈ I thought this was a pizza party.

food.
Naturally his attention gravitates towards the cat lounging on the young man's shoulders, and he pauses in his perusal of the food to give both cat and boy a good lookover. ]
A friend of yours? He's [ she's???? ] cute.
[ Is it willing to accept pets from strangers....please say yes. ]
no subject
He's really cute! They gave me him for my photo, but I don't know if they gave us any food for him.
[ Shifting his weight, he leans over a little so that pets can be offered. ]
He doesn't bite, don't worry. He's really friendly.
no subject
Carefully, he holds out one hand out for the cat to sniff. ]
Then I guess we'll just have to find some food ourselves for this little guy, won't we? [ Just assigns himself Yuji's partner-in-crime, no big deal. ] What exactly do cats eat anyway? I never had the chance to own any pets growing up.
no subject
[ The cat, nameless as he remains, leans in to sniff at the offered hand before headbutting it and purring softly. Yuji, for his part, beams, excited about the notion of a happy pet. ]
I don't think they're really meant to drink milk either, so I was hoping to get some water.
no subject
Guess we'll have to look somewhere else then. [ Read: outside the firehouse. ] Think they'll [ with a nod of his head towards all the photographers still at work ] mind if we ditch early?
[ They don't really need to stay here now that they're both done with their shifts, right? ]
no subject
[ The cat keeps purring as Yuji reaches up to pet her gently, and he grins. He's just happy to be here and play around with a cat for a little bit - the notion of missions and fighting is something he is choosing to put out of his mind for just a while longer.
Adjusting his weight, he reaches up to tug the cat off his shoulders and hold it in his arms gently, stroking across the warm fur of the curling tail. ]
Is there a kitchen here, maybe?
no subject
Let's find out, shall we?
[ He's never been in a firehouse before, but most businesses are the same. So long as there are people working for long periods of time, there needs to be some sort of break area with food to keep them sated and satisfied.
While they're walking: ]
By the way, I didn't catch your name. I'm Wriothesley.
[ Sure, they have all their profiles out on display for everyone to see, but it never hurts to indulge in a in-person introduction. ]
no subject
[ Yuji is tackling this with the determination of someone who's about to do a long-distance marathon, and he grins as he follows after Wriothesley, the cat still purring and wiggling in his arms. Maybe it knows it's going to get fed.
Shuffling along, Yuji offers a quick bow as they go. ]
Nice to meet you! I'm Yuji Itadori. And they never told me the cat's name!
no subject
Should we name it then? Fair warning, I'm pretty bad with names.
[ So it's all on Yuji if they go that routeβ¦. ]
no subject
[ The cat doesn't seem bothered either way, lounging across Yuji's held arms and settling there, as if their conversation is boring and mundane. Shaking his head, he scratches under the cat's chin before he nods. ]
Let's see what kind of food it likes, and then maybe a good name will come to us.
no subject
I guess we could just ask one of the employees here for its name.
[ But there are so many people here, all in various states of undress....how are they supposed to know who's an actual employee, who's a volunteer, and who's just standing around mooching the free food and drinks? Easier to just give this cat a new name.
But regardless, they have somehow wandered their way into the kitchen, whereupon Wriothesley beelines for the fridge so he can open it up for them to snoop inside. ]
See anything good?
no subject
Sure, they have their secret identities, but... It's a little unnerving, worrying about being 'found out', especially if they might get in trouble for it.
Shaking his head, he turns his attention back to Wriothesley and the fridge and leans down, expression on his face painfully thoughtful. ]
Oh! Is that tuna?
no subject
You think they'll miss it?
[ There's a couple other cans in the fridge, along with various containers, but the appliance isn't so jam-packed that a single can wouldn't at least be a little noticeable. ]
no subject
[ The cat sniffs, then wiggles a little in Yuji's arms - which has the boy himself pulling it closer, nodding his head. ]
Yeah, I know, some food! We'll get it, don't worry. Is there a opener around?
no subject
I'll replace it.
[ Isn't that how the world should work, with the old looking after the young? Even if he well knows that's not how it goes in practice more often than not. He sets the can on the counter momentarily, opening up drawers and cabinuets to hunt down a can opener. ]
Though if this cat turns out to be a picky eater, maybe we won't have to replace it at all.
no subject
[ Yuji looks around, watching as a can opener is found, and focuses instead on getting a plate ready. This means placing the cat on the counter for a moment, which is frowned upon but... He can deal. ]
As long as he can eat something it should be fine.
no subject
Yuji works on getting a plate and Wriothesley works on popping the can lid open, having successfully managed to find a can opener in one of the many drawers. ]
Do you usually go around picking up stray animals?
[ Not that he really picked this one up but... ]
no subject
[ If anything, he's the stray, picked up by Gojo and taken to the school. He just likes taking care of things, and animals are pretty easy. Easier than people, at least.
Plate over, he reaches out to pet the cat again gently, grinning. ]
I just... Want to look after things, I guess.
no subject
Not a lot of kids your age do that.
[ Assuming he's eyeballing this kid's age correctly. Kids do get sent to the Fortress every now and then (he had, after all), but they're few and far between. The closest exposure he has to kids these days are the Melusines that drop by to visit Sigewinne, their curiosity (and penchant for putting stickers on all his stuff) more childlike than anything else. ]
It's a good habit though. One worth nurturing.
no subject
[ Maybe it's different when you're part of the group of young fighters that he is - some of them are selfish, sure, but they do all want to take care of each other and protect innocent people. That is, at least, a little part of the reason why they fight.
Sure, for some people it's just a matter of getting stronger and being the strongest, but that never mattered to Yuji. Not as much. ]
I promised my grandpa too, so I want to make sure I do it right.
no subject
Most kids don't have a reason to, right? They're already being taken care of . [ Should be taken care of, if the fates have any mercy in them. ] Sure, it might be different for brothers and sisters - that's a whole different boatload of responsibilities - but when you've got the whole world in front of you to explore, it's hard to think about other people.
[ And isn't that the way it should be? Wouldn't it be nice if the world were kind enough that kids didn't have to look out for each other and simply do as they pleased?
Man, he's getting old, thinking about sentimental stuff like this. ]
Was your grandfather the one who raised you?
no subject
[ There was a moment... A brief flash, when he died, where he thinks he might have seen his mother or his father, but he can't really remember it at all. It's all a little woozy in his head, and the sudden horror of being literally killed kind of puts a damper on any real remembering. ]
He was the one who taught me about fighting, right? And when he died, he told me that since I'm strong, I should try and protect people. That's what I'm trying to do, even if it's hard.
no subject
Though at least the kid had someone who'd genuinely put his happiness and well-being first. That's more than many get. Wriothesley offers up a smile, small but genuine. ]
Well, if you ever need a hand, let me know. That's what comrades [ not to borrow Childe's words or anything, but gotta keep things vague out here ] are for, right?
[ Might as well help someone else with their goals while he rethinks his own. ]
