WHO: March 7th, various WHAT: May catch-all! ANYTHING COULD HAPPEN (hmu up for starters if you'd like anything!) WHERE: All around WHEN: The month of May WARNINGS: None yet!
[ It had felt sort of weird seeing unopened paints and while she thought it might be something good for Netzach to dabble into, to add some more color to a room that still feels barely lived-in...
March is also looking forward to artistic shenanigans and so today, Netzach will hear a few thuds at his door. Thuds, specifically, because her arms are full of easel and canvas things and she's having to knock with her elbow. ]
he's expecting her, though, so he makes his way to the door and opens it without complaining about the volume level, blinking when he sees how much she's brought with her.]
[he can't help but think about the facility. the sterile lighting, the uniform color of metal in the halls. the clerks in their monochrome uniforms, depending on their department. there was color, but he couldn't call it colorful.
the color is a little more in the people, maybe. he picked up the pink paint and thought of the sakura trees, but also about the shade of her hair.]
Don't know if I'm very good at seeing colors yet though.
Netzach.

Do we need all of this to paint...?
no subject
[ ... it's been a while since she's done this. ]

[easier while standing? but everything is so much easier when you don't have to stand.
still, he's willing to experiment.]
You can put 'em wherever you want.

[ Shit's heavy and there's a huge sigh of relief once she can actually put everything down, right in the center of the room. ]
Now we just set up the canvases and get the brushes! Do you have any idea of what you'd want to paint or do we just wing it?
no subject
[the center of the room is fine, just leave it all there.]

[ she stares at her canvas. ]
Guess I'll see how it turns out.

[leaning over to look curiously at her empty canvas...]
no subject
[ Sure. That's how it works. ]

[he's looking at his own canvas, then at the paints. back to the canvas.
after thinking about it, he picks out the pink bottle.]

[ She uncaps the blue, dipping her brush into the little puddle she makes. ]
Things have gotten a lot more colorful for me now.

[ And it's a single wide stroke of blue she makes across the canvas now, swirling at the ends. ]
You just have to take it at your own pace.
no subject
[lazy. unhurried. closing his eyes to the things around him, so that he doesn't have to see.
he makes a blotch of pink on the canvas. another near it. a couple more, like petals.]
no subject
[ As long as he opens his eyes this time around. ]
Can I borrow the pink when you're done with it?
no subject
[what good has thinking about things done him, he's not going to solve anything himself.]
I'll let you know when I'm done with it, but I think I'm gonna use it for a bit.
no subject
[ She'll go for purple next, instead. And-- ]
Think of it this way. I don't think it's gonna hurt anything, so there's a better chance of it being helpful!
