There's ups and downs associated with getting to know anyone and sometimes the ups are uppier and the downs are more down, depending on the person

something awkward flutters in his chest, like maybe... he's about to do her wrong in possibly getting her caught. like there's something exciting to having her whisper a message just for him in the middle of the night, amongst a group almost entirely unrelated to him for all he knows. his body, also, tells him he's excited, a sharp inhale coming out in a shaky exhale as he pictures her figure in a thin undershirt leaning into him to cup a hand around his ear.
