And Ratio's, for good measure, that he quickly presses into the other man's hands. )

Maybe a little risk to spice things up further is just what we need. ( That is a tease, for even Aventurine knows that Ratio would never consent to anything particularly 'risky' in the bedroom this early into their relationship. Especially when it came to personal cleanliness. ) Well, come on then -- the sooner we're clean the sooner we can get back to the main event of the hour.

( He's waited so long for this that the threat of waiting even longer is an annoyance he's eager to get rid of. What are the chances he can convince Ratio to be in and out in less than ten minutes? Not high, he thinks. )

[ Given Aventurine's eagerness, Ratio had expected him to continue teasing him, maybe even try to cheekily feel him up in an attempt to get him to forego the shower. But the gambler pulls away without any resistance, leaving him at a loss. He blinks as his shower implements are pressed into his hands and he's gently ushered back out of his room at a speed he wouldn't expect normally from the other man, except that's just how excited he is, isn't it?

He's eager too, so he can't really complain. He shoves aside his nerves in favour of efficiency, as he usually does. ]

A few more minutes will not kill you, my dear gambler.

[ And it is with a leisurely pace that he sets off for the showers, if only to provoke Aventurine and rile him up. ]

( Oh now he's just being difficult! Aventurine is an adult who does not whine nor kick his feet when faced with a man of immovable morals. Even if he knows the fact that he can turn a pleading expression on Ratio and make him crumble just slightly. That's cheating -- Ratio should just be as excited as Aventurine is for him to finally get his hands on his dick! Yessir! ( Aventurine gives him a mock salute before ducking off for his own shower. But not before he can impart one more embarrassing nugget of wisdom for the doctor: ) Remember to wash inside too, doc-- accidents happen, of course, but it's not exactly something a clean freak like you could come back from--

( He vanishes before he can hear Ratio's response or see his face, a laugh following him. But true to his word, he takes his time, though not nearly as long as the other man, and handedly beats him back to the room. He'd debated just remaining naked, but figured that might ruin a bit of the fun for Ratio, and slips on the grey sweats offered by LILITH and does his best not to go stir crazy waiting for Ratio to return.

It's fine. He's got this. Maybe he should pose seductively on the bed? That really only works if he's the one that's going to be ravished, not the ravisher. Aventurine is woefully out of practice at being enticing in that particular manner, but he supposes Ratio won't know the difference. Ratio takes the full half hour, as he said he would. He cleans himself thoroughly, following all the knowledge he's gathered on the topic (yes, including the inside, thank you very much Aventurine, he needed no reminders because that is the most important place to clean!)

He returns to their shared room feeling quite refreshed, wearing a light t-shirt and shorts and a small towel over his shoulders to catch the water that drips from his still damp hair. Though he's still nervous about the upcoming encounter, the shower did wonders for improving his mental state and subsequently, his confidence. He knows he's ready for this now, come what may.

( It would be a mistake to say Aventurine pouts when Ratio proceeds to walk past him to set his stuff away. He doesn't pout, after all. Except if Ratio happens to look at Aventurine out of the corner of his eyes he will see the other man doing exactly that. Something about this whole thing has Aventurine feeling particularly childish, the way he wants to kick his feet about in protest until he manages to get Ratio's attention on him. He refrains.

[ Ratio chuckles, allowing the emotion to bubble out unfiltered. Aventurine is utterly adorable with that expression on his face. He knows the other man has been waiting for this all day, so he doesn't drag it out any longer. Once the shower implements are put down, and the towel around his shoulders hung on the back of the chair, he approaches the bed and settles onto the mattress on his knees.

He reaches out to settle a hand on Aventurine's face, smiling warmly. ]

[ He's ready for whatever Aventurine has in store for him. ]

I do. ( Aventurine pulls him close, for a moment setting aside lust in favor of simply kissing the other man with all the fondness he feels in his chest. When he has to break for air, he doesn't pull back very far at all. ) You know, doc, it's a rare thing for me to be the penetrating partner.

Ratio allows Aventurine to maneuver him, winding up flat on his back and Aventurine atop him. When he looks up, his breath catches. Like this, with the shorter man towering over him and looking down upon him... the sight brings a rush of anticipation and arousal, and his hands settle on the gambler's hips gently. ]

[ Aventurine's laugh is melodious and delightful. It is honest, sweet and so full of life. It is infectious, and the smile already present on Ratio's face softens as he gazes up at his lover with affection and awe.

Not even a few months ago, he couldn't have dreamed of being privy to this side of the man. Aventurine of Stratagems, one of the Ten Stonehearts. A high-ranking executive of the IPC who could dictate significant movements in the company. Despite what hold the IPC had over his life, his status was unmistakable. This was a life he built with his own hands after so much suffering and hardship. And now he was sharing it with Ratio.

There is something different in the way they kiss this time. Though they've shared many kisses in bed, this is the first time they've done so in this position, with Aventurine pressing him insistently into the bed, greedily devouring the air from Ratio's lungs. There is no chance to gather his thoughts, scattered by every sensual swipe of Aventurine's tongue against his. A quiet noise escapes from his throat and his fingers clutch tightly at the fabric of the other man's sweatshirt.

( The only pressure that exists for Aventurine right now is not disappointing Ratio by slipping into the roles he’s practiced and honed to a sharp edge over time. He adapts to what people want from him, be it someone his partners think they can take something from, or someone who balances on the edge of want and distaste to give his partner the sensation of being able to put the mouthy Stoneheart in his place. But the key, Aventurine has always known, lies in never truly giving them the power they think they want. [ Aventurine is a beautiful man. Anyone with a functioning pair of eyes could easily attest to that, even when he's glamoured up in his typical peacock-like flashy outfit. But stripped of it, bare from waist up, he is just as, if not even more gorgeous. Thinner than Ratio, but toned, bespeaking the effort he puts into maintaining his appearance.

He is mesmerizing, but even better, he is within arm's reach.
