[ A few days after the girls have had their fun (cause girls just wanna have fun), another blanket text sweeps over the Outsiders' inboxes. This time, it's from Kaito: and he is proposing a very original idea that all the guys should come by the hot springs in a few days' time. Gossip and bathing are optional, but an empty stomach is mandatory.

Several pictures of newly purchased smokers, grills, and even a fucking pizza oven can be seen at various points throughout the message. There are also mountains of stacked beer and soda cases. Kaito's apparently going to be cooking enough to feed the whole base, or so he purports.

Where did he get all the money for this? Whatever, it's free!

He also adds in no uncertain terms that if any girls try to show up and sneak a snack, he will send them home with a stern warning and a bottle of water.

If you take him up on the invitation, welcome! It's a spring cookout and Pitmaster Kaito Nagano is going to be serving up enough barbeque to temporarily turn the onsen area into a Texan territory within Japan. Seriously, there's gonna be a metric fuckton of food and booze, and the hot springs will be right there when you're ready to get hot and hungover.

There are absolutely no plans after food. Feel free to stick around and socialize, but you will not be publicly shamed for just yoinking a plate and dip setting. Probably.

Aside from the barbeque, there are some horseshoes and cornhole boards set up (google it, it's safe, this is not a bit it's just a funny name for an american game) for dudes to try their hand-eye coordination at after having one too many drinks.

If you're feeling particularly brave, Kaito's got an ice box full of artificial fish (all the meat's artificial, let's be real) that you can try to attract a feral cat with. Good luck. ]

[ Grinning, Yuji shifts, grabbing to keep his arm around Bakugo as he tries to turn them both, to pin him to the ground. ]

[Oh no! He's not going down. Elbow to the shallows, then a quick slap of the hand to make himself as obnoxious to turn as possible.]

Ha! With one arm?

[More or less arm wrestling Yuji with the other one...]

[ Yuji huffs a laugh as he shifts. He's not necessarily putting all his strength in yet - he could break bones without thinking - but he does adjust, trying to tug on Bakugo's arm to make him let go. ]

I've had worse!

[He's not the only one, though his would require conscious thought without his Quirk. Bakugo grunts at the adjustment, then quickly releases his arm and tries to make Yuji overcompensate so he can roll them both over.]

[ It happens - Yuji ends up slipping a little, rolling and dropping back with a small oof so Bakugo is basically on top of him. ]

Damnit!

[Victor! Bakugo promptly jams his knees into the shallow's floor, grinning down at Yuji from atop him, one hand on his shoulder, the other still fighting Yuji's free grip.]

[ Shifting, Yuji pushes himself back from the ground, digging his hands in - and, yeah, he's sickeningly strong, so it's probably working to just... Push Bakugo up... ]

[Yeah, thing is, Bakugo's strong too, but he's not 350lbs of muscle like Endeavor or All Might. And without a gravity Quirk... Yuji's pushing him up.]

[But good. He quickly goes for Yuji's elbow, trying to tug it to the side to buckle at least one arm.]

[ The war of the teens continues... Yuji shifts, digging his claws into the ground to keep himself secure. ]

[Dammit, he can't exactly pin him without dropping his full weight on him, and even that's not enough.]

[Then again, Yuji'll have a hard time getting him off.]

[ And he does, trying to twist his body under Bakugo and jerk him back and off his body. ]

[Shit! Bakugo cusses as that jerk and twist topples him, hitting the water with a splash.

Not that he isn't rising up a second later like a sea beast.]

[ All Yuji can do is lean back, snorting a laugh as he covers his mouth. ]

[He could snap him with the now-soaked towel floating around somewhere... or...

GARI HEAD GEYSER!!

[And slams both hands down into the water before heaving a big ass scoop of a splash towards him! Not exploding yet but that was close.]

[ And now Yuji is soaked, wiping his face as he huffs a little laugh, but... He's grinning when it's over. ]

[It's not like he didn't just dump Bakugo into the drink a second ago.

Slipping down, Yuji scowls. ]

Bakugo slogs over to him, snatching the towel from the water, and sinks down beside Yuji with a smirk.]

[ Yuji just... Leans into him, resting his head on Bakugo's shoulder. ]

[He's one of the few that earned the right to do so without getting snarled at.]
