WHAT: Dating shows... I was bullied.
WHERE: Between Okinawa & Neo Tokyo.
WHEN: Throughout the remainder of July (listen, it's a production)!
WARNINGS: Partial nudity, alcohol, potential suggestive topics, and will update 'em as I see 'em!

Throughout the city of Neo Tokyo and even Okinawa, there will be advertisements posted by the hundreds (and spam mail to your oculars by an equal number), desiring candidates for a show. While the aftermath of vegas and other bleak instances might have led way for people practicing some semblance of moderation— opposite to that, the people also need their entertainment, don't they?

Fortunately, there will be an influx of dating shows looking for people to appear. They are offering a fairly decent amount of money and are even offering luxury experiences for free for participants. In this economy and food shortage??? Okay, the food may be lacking, but they do make up for it in various activities they have planned, where people can kick back, relax, and romance?

While there will be any number of shows looking for interested parties, these are the main shows/premises:

  SPEED DATING  

As the label suggests. People will be expected to sit down and switch through several partners. In their hands will be a card labeling who they encounter and a place to leave a check mark. They will also be given a list of questions that can be answered.

  PARTNER SWAP  

People can be on a show and swap partners. This doesn't necessarily need to be romantic, either. Have a friend you want to show up with, cool. The only rules are that the pairs who enter together cannot stay together during the duration of the show.

  SINGLES INFERNO  

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be trapped on a deserted island with other hot singles? Well, now you no longer have to wonder. They will need to cook and fend for themselves here with minimal activities or distraction— but, isn't that the point? All you need to focus on is each other! (* They will be ferried to an outer island by Okinawa). While on the island, which they label as inferno, it's also a rule that one cannot speak about their age, occupation, or any such personal details. All of this will be reserved for "paradise." To go to paradise, two individuals will need to pick one another, and if they do — they are able to go on to completed various luxury experiences together.

For those who would rather find paradise in inferno together, you can presume there are tents that act as shared dormitory quarters where contestants will stay together.

  DATE ME  

People are free to use this for just general dates. Maybe, you just want to finesse the system and enjoy a fun all-expense-paid for date in which you get to eat like relative kings and enjoy various experiences. Feel free to use anything in the setting to your desire.

  SKINSHIP STARTER  

... a show where you get paid the more skinship you do. Don't do anything you wouldn't do in a Wendy's though. (That's not how the saying actually goes).

  COMMENTARY PANEL  

Every good dating show needs those who simply sit and commentate, right?

* It can be assumed any of this is just open to general CR you want to spend time with, too. This is just supposed to be a silly log for chances for characters to get to know one another! Characters are more than welcome to assume they stumble upon this by accident, think it's just a basic job and can't leave, film or unfilmed (minus the commentary prompt), and whatever else! Feel free to tag freely, threadjack, etc!

When you can remember colors again, you can tell me what you think about seeing them then. [ Sure, maybe they're pretty colors objectively, but they won't know until they can see them for themselves.

Still not touching, Siffrin holds his hand up near to Gebura's and studies the shade difference. Almost, but not quite the same. Odile and Isa are paler, Mira is the darkest. Bonnie is darker than him, but not by much. A kid used to the outdoors.

Then, his eye. They follow her point to the ocean, the lightness of it fading to its opposite in spectrum as the water deepens.

(It's a lovely shade. You've always thought so, and faintly, faintly you remember...) ]

I think my parents used to say that too. About the shade.

[ (But you don't remember. It's hazy as ever, and you're careful not to grasp for it. Not to scare its fleeting existence.

Actually, being emotionally honest is embarrassing, how do they forget this everytime-- ]

[ Tough shit, buddy. If Gebura has to remember it, so do you. ]

... Just eat your mango. [ She's going to save them both here, since this was technically her fault in the first place. ] If you've got some kind of desperate need to learn the color of something later on, you can ask me.

Speaking of the mango, though. They're holding it up inquisitively. ]

[bemist]

[ Well, she more or less saw that coming. ]

... The skin's three different colors. Green--[ indicating as she talks ] Yellow and red. The inside's yellow-orange. Not sure if you've had them before, but the shades it is now means it's ripe.

[siffriend]

[ "Green"... Not "Grin". Okay. "Yellow", and "red". But it's a different kind of "red" than Gebura's hair, and then the inside...

...

It's a lot of different "colors". The shades are a pleasing gradient too, which is why he likes it in the first place. Siffrin turns it around in their hand, careful not to get juice drippings anywhere, and bites into another cut cube of it. ]

Bonnie used them to make turnovers once. It was really, really good, and super flaky. I ate five.

[ And honestly, he could go for five more right now...

(... Though, why aren't you hungry anymore? Because food lasts now? Because there's no loop that's taking it back?)

Is the sky really "bloo"?

Sometimes.

[ ... Explaining this is not something she ever thought she would do and Chesed would make it sound much more beautiful, but Gebura is from the Backstreets and even as the Patron Librarian of the Floor of Language, her own is forever straightforward. ]

The sky changes colors all the time. In the morning, it's a mix of a lighter blue--[ Pointing at the water that's just past the sand ] And pink and purple. Then if the sun is out, it's a slightly darker blue, but still a lot lighter than your eye. More like the first ocean I showed you at night.

And the... you know sunsets, yeah?

[siffriend]

[ All the time... "Pink" and "purple" will need to be studied, but the others are easy to visualize with their shades. No, he still can't remember the color. But the shades are important -- their small differences, the gradient that goes with them.

A nod! Sunsets are nice. ]

They're... a similar shade to the mango, and to your hair. But then it gets dark, like the ocean, and then the stars come out. It's nice to watch at the beach.

Right. Like I said, not just blue. There are a few more colors that happen between sunset and night falling, but maybe you'll see it sometime for yourself.

[ Describing dusk is also a lot of colors. ]

[ It's enough that she's done this much for them, truly. Taking the time to answer their questions, to see the world as they do, to understand and make comparisons that they can visualize and reference...

If we stay here long enough, we'd get the whole show.

I can't imagine we're going to get that lucky and be ignored for the next several hours.

[ The answer better be "no", Siffrin. ]

But you're at least approachable. Maybe more of a target.

Otherwise, talking to people here works just like it did in Dormont.

[ They are so good at walking into strangers' houses and being talked at.

Not that they can do the first part here anymore. Locked doors. Siffrin licks the mango juice off his fingers, like a little cat. ]

... But I wouldn't try it there without you nearby. I'd be pummeled.

I probably wouldn't be there. At least not in a location where I could do anything.

For the record, I don't remember volunteering to be your bodyguard.

That's not a possibility that can happen.
