[ Gojo-sensei and Toji-san might stay here... He doesn't know about Kugisaki and the others. ]

[Katsuki would be staying behind to make sure everyone got through as well, so that'll... end up being a fight or something. A stupid, stubborn, amusing fight.]

[ Yuji pauses to really think this through. ]

Do a backflip.

[Really thought hard on that one.]

[Minor protest. Leaning against Yuji and all.]

[ Lifting his hand, he ruffles Katsuki's hair. ]

[ Yuji closes his eyes, softening against Katsuki and relaxing, some of that final tension bleeding away. ]

I'm glad we were able to meet.

[It's nice to feel the tension softening. Nice to have let Yuji have a peek into his world. He'll tell him more.

But finally nudges his shoulder so they can both separate.

Backflip. Katsuki stands up, dusts his butt off, takes a quick stance, and jump backwards. No problem at all, legs tuck up, body rotates, and he lands on his feet easily.]

[ The separation makes him pout for a moment before he realises what's going on, and then he's shifting to the side to watch.

Katsuki flips, and Yuji cheers. ]

That looked so cool!

[You're such a dork, Yuji. Katsuki's grinning like a gremlin because he's awesome.]

I learned that when I was five.

You were that kind of kid.

[ Yuji nods his head sagely. ]

That makes sense. I was too busy running around to practice that kind of thing.

Isn't that part of running around?

[Katsuki returns to sit next to Yuji. Little kid stuff, learning kartwheels and flips and all those things.]

I guess, but I was busy as a kid too.

[ Helping out his grandpa and everything. ]

Looking after your grandfather and attending school, huh.

[Katsuki knows Yuji's parents are gone.]

Yeah, exactly.

[ He nods. ]

You can dare me back, now.

[ Yuji watches him, a little suspicious now. ]

[Katsuki holds his hand up and a few sparks pop and snap above his palm.]

[ Yuji is tempted, though... ]

Last time we just mixed blood with sweat. This time, try to form a hollow, hardened sphere.

[Might as well get a bit of work in.]

[ Yuji sighs, and then reaches out to lift his hand to his mouth and just... Bite. Hard. Hard enough to draw blood, barely wincing at the pain before he tries to start manipulating it. ]

[While Katsuki doesn't like to see Yuji hurt, he knows the guy has to get his blood out and he trusts his reverse cursed technique to heal something this minor without a problem.

This may be a dare, but this also is a minor preparation for what might be lurking out in the desert later...]

Practice. I didn't have a lot of time for that before.

[ His eyes narrow as he focuses, trying to mould the blood into shape. He's improving, but Noritoshi hadn't bothered to teach him too much since they didn't think he needed it. ]

[As long as he has the properties of condensing it, even if Choso's a bad teacher, Katsuki can work with "the properties" when talking to Yuji. He watches the other boy work at moulding the blood.]

If you can just keep its shape, that's fine.

[Katsuki can actually help with the second half.]

[ Yuji nods, focus intense as he starts to try and shape the blood, moulding it - and he wonders, absently, if Choso can feel him doing this, is aware of it in that strange way he always is. ]
