WHAT: Dating shows... I was bullied.
WHERE: Between Okinawa & Neo Tokyo.
WHEN: Throughout the remainder of July (listen, it's a production)!
WARNINGS: Partial nudity, alcohol, potential suggestive topics, and will update 'em as I see 'em!

Throughout the city of Neo Tokyo and even Okinawa, there will be advertisements posted by the hundreds (and spam mail to your oculars by an equal number), desiring candidates for a show. While the aftermath of vegas and other bleak instances might have led way for people practicing some semblance of moderation— opposite to that, the people also need their entertainment, don't they?

Fortunately, there will be an influx of dating shows looking for people to appear. They are offering a fairly decent amount of money and are even offering luxury experiences for free for participants. In this economy and food shortage??? Okay, the food may be lacking, but they do make up for it in various activities they have planned, where people can kick back, relax, and romance?

While there will be any number of shows looking for interested parties, these are the main shows/premises:

  SPEED DATING  

As the label suggests. People will be expected to sit down and switch through several partners. In their hands will be a card labeling who they encounter and a place to leave a check mark. They will also be given a list of questions that can be answered.

  PARTNER SWAP  

People can be on a show and swap partners. This doesn't necessarily need to be romantic, either. Have a friend you want to show up with, cool. The only rules are that the pairs who enter together cannot stay together during the duration of the show.

  SINGLES INFERNO  

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be trapped on a deserted island with other hot singles? Well, now you no longer have to wonder. They will need to cook and fend for themselves here with minimal activities or distraction— but, isn't that the point? All you need to focus on is each other! (* They will be ferried to an outer island by Okinawa). While on the island, which they label as inferno, it's also a rule that one cannot speak about their age, occupation, or any such personal details. All of this will be reserved for "paradise." To go to paradise, two individuals will need to pick one another, and if they do — they are able to go on to completed various luxury experiences together.

For those who would rather find paradise in inferno together, you can presume there are tents that act as shared dormitory quarters where contestants will stay together.

  DATE ME  

People are free to use this for just general dates. Maybe, you just want to finesse the system and enjoy a fun all-expense-paid for date in which you get to eat like relative kings and enjoy various experiences. Feel free to use anything in the setting to your desire.

  SKINSHIP STARTER  

... a show where you get paid the more skinship you do. Don't do anything you wouldn't do in a Wendy's though. (That's not how the saying actually goes).

  COMMENTARY PANEL  

Every good dating show needs those who simply sit and commentate, right?

* It can be assumed any of this is just open to general CR you want to spend time with, too. This is just supposed to be a silly log for chances for characters to get to know one another! Characters are more than welcome to assume they stumble upon this by accident, think it's just a basic job and can't leave, film or unfilmed (minus the commentary prompt), and whatever else! Feel free to tag freely, threadjack, etc!

[ There's a few seconds, in which Gebura has reacted before she's recognized--because when it isn't something familiar, like Malkuth's bouncy footsteps or Hod's carefully polite ones against Chesed's softly deliberate steps and Tiphereth's decisive footfalls, when it's literally anyone else other than her colleagues and they're not trying to announce their presence...

She sees the new presence as a threat, braced to act accordingly, to kill before they can strike; there's conviction in her gaze, then, ready to strike.

But perhaps said presence isn't all that different, because she spots the knife as soon as their fingers wrap around the hilt, and she can all but feel the tension radiating from them. The smile feels like its own form of attack.

Gebura steps back almost immediately. ]

Don't. Stabbing an attacker would have been the right choice.

What does she know of you? Only what you've said, what you've shown. It isn't like them. Like your family members.

It doesn't stop your stomach from hurting. But Gebura isn't important, and there's no tug. Still, it doesn't feel that nice to see her step back.)

The grip relaxes slowly, uneasily, despite the same wide smile on his face. ]

[ As ever, she ignores the pun. It's too early to make assumptions, but joking to hide the fact that they'd regarded her with something like a fierce sense of panic. A need to fight back...

She's never really liked it when people do that. As though she's an idiot who's never had to observe a thing in her life. And it makes her be honest. Even more honest. Maybe brutally so, as she stares at him.

[ Sort of shuffled along by others. Silence was taken as "okay". Etc.

It isn't a bad thing though, she says, and they know that. The knife still goes away, finally. ]

I got dragged into it by a colleague.

[ Something else to add to the list of regrets, honestly. ]

This sort of thing isn't really my idea of a good time. [ Because Gebura has the romantic heart of a washing machine. ]

[siffriend]

It doesn't seem like it would be.

[ Siffrin likes romance, but this...

... I can offer a reprieve. I don't think anyone will bother us if we're together.

As long as you say something, that's fine. Obviously you don't need to say anything I'd you're approaching from the front.

[ Great! It's hang out time. Siffrin will shuffle his way back to the... date spot area... where they have a selection of snacks, water, and an amazing view of the beach for young hopeful lovers to get to know one another without leaking pertinent information saved for paradise.

Naturally, there is the instruction through implant to get cozy and learn about each other with questions (for views! what's better than that height difference, people!), but Siffrin is content to hop into one of the seats and take a mango to cut into with their knife and hand half off to Gebura.

... Wow. This thing is coming in useful already, splitting fruit with another person. (Romance...!)




Hope no one was expecting conversation. ]

[ Surely not, because this is the quietest affair. And that's fine, probably, at least for them, even if the producers are probably weeping because how is drama and/or romance supposed to spark into being like this!!

Finally, as she finishes peeling her mango half, Gebura looks out over the beach. ]

Colors also exist for us, as themselves. You could say Color Fixers got their titles because of the colors of their attacks or of their general appearances.

... Though I'm pretty sure there's a District where there's a price on colors so you can tell who the rich people are immediately.

[ So forgetting colors means you can't see them anymore? Or does he just not have the words to describe them? ]

You wouldn't be able to tell the colors of my eyes, huh?

[ Like. What does "red" even mean to them? And maybe it sounds condescending, to ask it like that, but she'd like to get a better understanding of how he sees the world; he'd already willingly explained it. ]

So one is the same as my coin, and the other is the color of flower middles.
