( open; ) summer episode part 2?
WHO: Any Outsider is more than welcome!
WHAT: Dating shows... I was bullied.
WHERE: Between Okinawa & Neo Tokyo.
WHEN: Throughout the remainder of July (listen, it's a production)!
WARNINGS: Partial nudity, alcohol, potential suggestive topics, and will update 'em as I see 'em!
Throughout the city of Neo Tokyo and even Okinawa, there will be advertisements posted by the hundreds (and spam mail to your oculars by an equal number), desiring candidates for a show. While the aftermath of vegas and other bleak instances might have led way for people practicing some semblance of moderation— opposite to that, the people also need their entertainment, don't they?
Fortunately, there will be an influx of dating shows looking for people to appear. They are offering a fairly decent amount of money and are even offering luxury experiences for free for participants. In this economy and food shortage??? Okay, the food may be lacking, but they do make up for it in various activities they have planned, where people can kick back, relax, and romance?
While there will be any number of shows looking for interested parties, these are the main shows/premises:
* It can be assumed any of this is just open to general CR you want to spend time with, too. This is just supposed to be a silly log for chances for characters to get to know one another! Characters are more than welcome to assume they stumble upon this by accident, think it's just a basic job and can't leave, film or unfilmed (minus the commentary prompt), and whatever else! Feel free to tag freely, threadjack, etc!

Okay, the food may be lacking, but they do make up for it in various activities they have planned, where people can kick back, relax, and romance?
While there will be any number of shows looking for interested parties, these are the main shows/premises:
SPEED DATING
As the label suggests. People will be expected to sit down and switch through several partners. In their hands will be a card labeling who they encounter and a place to leave a check mark. They will also be given a list of questions that can be answered.
PARTNER SWAP
People can be on a show and swap partners. This doesn't necessarily need to be romantic, either. Have a friend you want to show up with, cool. The only rules are that the pairs who enter together cannot stay together during the duration of the show.
SINGLES INFERNO
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be trapped on a deserted island with other hot singles? Well, now you no longer have to wonder. They will need to cook and fend for themselves here with minimal activities or distraction— but, isn't that the point? All you need to focus on is each other! (* They will be ferried to an outer island by Okinawa). While on the island, which they label as inferno, it's also a rule that one cannot speak about their age, occupation, or any such personal details. All of this will be reserved for "paradise." To go to paradise, two individuals will need to pick one another, and if they do — they are able to go on to completed various luxury experiences together.
For those who would rather find paradise in inferno together, you can presume there are tents that act as shared dormitory quarters where contestants will stay together.
DATE ME
People are free to use this for just general dates. Maybe, you just want to finesse the system and enjoy a fun all-expense-paid for date in which you get to eat like relative kings and enjoy various experiences. Feel free to use anything in the setting to your desire.
SKINSHIP STARTER
... a show where you get paid the more skinship you do. Don't do anything you wouldn't do in a Wendy's though. (That's not how the saying actually goes).
COMMENTARY PANEL
Every good dating show needs those who simply sit and commentate, right?
* It can be assumed any of this is just open to general CR you want to spend time with, too. This is just supposed to be a silly log for chances for characters to get to know one another! Characters are more than welcome to assume they stumble upon this by accident, think it's just a basic job and can't leave, film or unfilmed (minus the commentary prompt), and whatever else! Feel free to tag freely, threadjack, etc!

No. She doesn't really believe that, she's just here to keep an eye on her colleague, but you can catch her doing incredibly romantic and sexy things such as!!!
A.) Kabedoning you against a rocky outcropping. Why? Probably because you didn't call out to her soon enough and she'd whirled around, sensing someone, and this is just proper defensive maneuvers, to become the aggressor first????
B.) Pulling you to safety against her because you tripped? Stray falling coconuts?? A mystery!!
C.) Standing ominously in front of the ocean, hair down for once and tousled majestically by the sea breeze, and she looks distinctly grumpy.
That's maybe not too strange, but maybe starting to walk directly into the ocean is? When not in a swimsuit? Eh.
So? How will you be wooed? She's fine fighting you too, that's probably more preferable. ]
a
... Um, hi. [ he lifts the coconut with a straw stuck in it up like one would a peace offering. ] Would you like some coconut?
no subject
She does not look very peaceful, but at least some of the homicidal intent (that was definitely not there surely you are imagining it she would never dream of killing anyone of course not) draws back in her gaze. So it's something. ]
I'm good.
[ Said flatly. ]
But I wouldn't recommend sneaking up on me next time.
[ HE VERY LIKELY WASN'T. ]
no subject
mismatched eyes of green and red watch as her own snap back to his face, taking a sip of the coconut juice. sweet and refreshing. ]
I wasn't, but I'll keep that in mind. [ since they're both here, though— ] Were you thinking about going to paradise?
no subject
I don't really think I'm going to be high on the list of considerations for that sort of thing anytime soon. [ Case in point, though she does lower her hand and step back slightly so he can enjoy his coconut juice without getting pressed against a rock. ]

perhaps, assuming she has her heart set of drowning in the ocean in an attempt to swim back. why he has these assumptions and misgiving is one thing, but he quickly follows after her. though, he is also not in swim attire. but, he strips his shirt off as shore, before following after her.
he reaches to (try and) grab her wrist. ] Where do you think you're going, Lady Gebura? I assure you, there's nothing there no matter how deep you go. [ per usual, there's still that devil-may-care tone to his voice, and yet he does sound a little serious.
as if actually a bit worried for her. ]
no subject
Well, it's probably more like they're grabbing each other by the wrist now, but she's tense, as though she is absolutely prepared to attempt to snap it if need be. She doesn't, because she's aware she probably shouldn't, but also because that odd note in his tone gives her some pause.
Not enough to prevent her eyes from narrowing, though. ]
I wouldn't say there's "nothing."
no subject
still, it's true that removing his shirt did little when the water logs down his pants. it probably doesn't help yet that his pants are white. but, that was neither here not there, he doesn't seem to pay much attention to it as he fights against the slight current that hugs and pulls away from the shore.
when he feels her grip against his own, he looks down before fixing his eyes back on her. ]
Then what would you call this? [ he says as he splashes water idly in her direction with his free hand. ] Are you the type who believes this is something? [ is he talking in metaphors, or what here... ]
no subject
You're overreacting. [ And she gives her head an irritable shake, that thick red mane flaring out. Her grip loosens on his wrist. ]
I was just looking for seaweed.
[ ... Seaweed. ]

Yesod follows — cautiously enough, but he might sink at this rate. ]
Gebura—
[ And suddenly he's gone, disappearing beneath the water's surface. ]
no subject
It truly never is a dull day, she thinks to herself, instantly plunging both hands into the ocean to try and grasp at whatever of him is within reach. If she has to go under, she will, but why the hell did he follow her if he was just going to sink?? ]
no subject
Thank you for the rescue, Gebura. Let him try to salvage his dignity while dripping water. ]

It's not a mistake he'd usually make. It was just a momentary lapse in attention as he contemplated his current, humiliating circumstances. But his cheeks flush in embarrassment anyway, knowing that all of this was being filmed and a certain someone would be watching. ]
...unhand me.
help
... She's not going to consider it an order, because she doesn't answer to anyone here, but she is going to push him slightly more upright as she steps back, one hand resting on her hip. Well.
(Hopefully Aventurine's the fun kind of jealous, for his sake, said Kia and not Gebura who does not know who either of them are.) ]
If you want to fall next time, be my guest.
i'm dying already
There aren't enough words to adequately express how much he wants to throttle Aventurine right now. If the gambler gets jealous as a result of whatever Ratio ends up getting into, he only has himself to blame. ]
It will not happen again.
[ In a very classic tsundere move, he crosses his arms and turns his head away with a hmph. But other than that... this is going to be a very awkward scenario for him, Gebura and everyone watching... no doubt the producers will be urging them to say something after a few long minutes of silence. ]

only to be suddenly trapped and honestly (you don't like it you don't like it you don't) it takes everything not to stab Gebura in the side with the pocket knife they'd obtained as a not so suitable replacement for a dagger. ]

It isn't meant for her. It's more meant for you than it might ever be her.)
Stay the hand. Stay the hand. Stay it.
(You're fine. It's fine.)
A small smile makes its way to his face. ]
3/3 okay
[ Yeah.
(Yeah, you're fine.) ]
no subject
She sees the new presence as a threat, braced to act accordingly, to kill before they can strike; there's conviction in her gaze, then, ready to strike.
But perhaps said presence isn't all that different, because she spots the knife as soon as their fingers wrap around the hilt, and she can all but feel the tension radiating from them. The smile feels like its own form of attack.
Gebura steps back almost immediately. ]
Don't. Stabbing an attacker would have been the right choice.

Either way! He has words. Words being: ]
Whoooooa! I don't think the show's genres include people walking into the ocean never to return, Miss Gebura! Where're you going?
no subject
And then she turns, though doesn't necessarily turn back. ]
Further out. [ Calmly. Though not to walk into the ocean never to return?? Probably?? ]
no subject
Not wanting to rip her shirt, he tugs on it a little more gently. ]
Surely you can elaborate on why?
[ someone's out here insinuating something terrible and all you're gonna tell them is that 'further out'??? ]

so yes, thank you. this is appreciated. the tripping is always going to be her downfall (haha), and... there isn't even anything there, when malkuth looks down. ]
Where would I be without you, Gebura?
no subject
[ As she carefully sets her back on her feet again. ]
At this point you're better off getting one of these saps to carry you.
no subject
[ so no thank you. "feels weird" isn't it but she's not gonna say "feels too distracting" to gebura of all people. actually to no one ever. ]
